Pokémon Champions damage calculator

How much each move does and how many hits it takes to KO, in Pokémon Champions or Scarlet & Violet. Champions’ rules are built in: level 50, Stat Points, Mega Evolution, its own move changes and Doubles spread damage. Every move both ways is worked out at once and stays in view, the field is one tap away, and the page’s address keeps the whole calc, so you can share it.

How it works

  • Pokémon Champions (the default): every Pokémon is level 50 with perfect IVs. Each Stat Point adds 1 to its stat, up to 32 in a stat and 66 in all, and the Stat Alignment raises one stat by 10% and lowers another, like a nature. Mega Evolution is in (hold the Mega Stone), Terastallizing isn’t, and the moves Champions changed use its numbers.
  • Scarlet & Violet: EVs, IVs, level and Tera Type, with every Pokémon, move and item.
  • Doubles: moves that hit both foes (or everyone) do 75% damage to each. Switch to “One target” for when only one is left. The field bar (Field on a phone) has the weather, terrain, screens, Helping Hand, Tailwind, hazards, rooms, auras and Ruin.
  • The numbers: each hit lands one of 16 random rolls between 85% and 100%. The range shows the lowest and the highest as a share of the target’s full HP, and the KO chance counts every roll against the HP it has left.
  • The bars start from the target’s HP as you set it. The solid part is what’s left even after the highest roll, the lighter part is what only lower rolls leave, and the red part is lost on every roll.
  • Why this number: a move’s details list everything that changed its damage (weather, same type, items, abilities, screens…), and a move that does nothing says why, such as a type that’s immune or Psychic Terrain stopping priority moves.
  • 2v2 board (Doubles): both of yours against both of theirs, every move into every target, with partner effects such as Helping Hand, Friend Guard and a second Intimidate counted for you. Combo adds up two to four hits for their exact chance to KO.
  • Meta table: your Pokémon against today’s most used, each with its most used set, both ways, and who’s faster. Spread finder: the fewest Stat Points that survive a hit, KO a target and outspeed it, all at once.
  • Most used set: a Pokémon you pick starts with its most common Champions set, from Smogon’s usage stats on Pokémon Showdown or, where Showdown has too few battles, the in-game ladder. Its set menu has its other common sets, and the pickers show how many players choose each item, ability, move and alignment.
  • Your team: + Team puts a set on the team builder’s team, and the strip under the bar loads any of your team into the calc. Paste a set or a whole team from Showdown or PokePaste. Saved calcs and undo stay in this browser.
