How it works in Champions
If both the user and the target have not fainted, the target is forced to switch out and be replaced with a random unfainted ally. This effect fails if the target is under the effect of Ingrain, has the Suction Cups Ability, or this move hit a substitute.
- Makes contact
“The target is thrown, and a different Pokémon is dragged out. In the wild, this ends a battle against a single Pokémon.”
In-game text, Scarlet & Violet
Good to know
- Makes contact: Rough Skin, Iron Barbs and Rocky Helmet hurt the attacker; Protective Pads prevents it.Contact moves
- Priority -6: it goes after moves of higher priority, whatever the Speed.Moves that go last
- Can't be used through: Assist, Copycat.
- Forces the target to switch out. Suction Cups and Guard Dog stop it.
