Biology

Centiskorch are centipede-like Pokémon with a set of heat organs on its belly. They produce fire, which makes up their antennae and rear end.

Design & origin

Both Centiskorch and its Gigantamax form are inspired by the Ōmukade, a giant centipede yokai in Japanese mythology. Additionally, its Gigantamax appearance is based on a radiator heater.

Forms

Gigantamax Centiskorch

When Gigantamaxed, Centiskorch has a larger body and a total of 100 legs, allowing it to move especially fast for its massive size, and its fire becomes more powerful. The underside of its body is yellow with bright yellow circle patterns.

The streams of flame on its head are longer, resembling an "X". Its signature G-Max Move is G-Max Centiferno.
