Biology

Pansear, one of a trio of monkey-like Pokémon, evolves into Simisear.

Design & origin

Its pre-evolution Pansear is one of a trio of Pokémon based on the "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" wise monkeys of Japanese folklore. Simisear's name derives from the words "simian" and "sear".
