Biology

Wailord travel with groups of Wailmer and other fish Pokémon, referred to as pods. If a Wailmer is attacked, the entire pod goes to defend it. A Wailord can eat an entire school of Wishiwashi.

Being 47.7 feet (14.5 m) tall, it is the largest common Pokémon, behind both forms of Eternatus and some Gigantamax Pokémon.
