Biology

Marill resembles a mouse. Its pre-evolution is Azurill, and it evolves into Azumarill.

Design & origin

During development of Gold and Silver, Marill's sprite was depicted with a dark pink and light purple color scheme. Marill's name hails from the words "marine" and "rill".
