Biology

Typhlosion is the final form of the Cyndaquil evolutionary line, evolving from the second stage, Quilava, and is a much more intimidating Pokémon than its prior forms. It has been referred to as mouse-like, hedgehog-like and badger-like. It has yellow and blue fur and a collar of fire around its neck, and is able to generate flames from its back.

Design & origin

Typhlosion was designed by Ken Sugimori and visually based on a honey badger. Its name comes from the words "typhoon" and "explosion".

Forms

Hisuian Typhlosion

Hisuian Typhlosion greatly resembles regular Typhlosion, though its flames take on a different appearance from the standard form.
